Ingram Hill
Memphis, TN

Drawing from influences ranging from Elvis to the Black Crowes, the bands latest release, June’s Picture Show,
rattles and rolls with bluesy rock fire. The arrangements are smart and taut and filled with hummable melodies
both tender and tough. Chambless and Sowell provide the foundation, driving upbeat tracks like “Never Be The
Same” and “Hanging Around Again,” and then locking into smoky, laidback grooves on “To Your Grave” and
“Maybe It’s Me.” Bogard soars above them, his guitar work an earthy blend of acoustic roadhouse soul and
melodic barroom rock. Vocalist Moore brings June to life, offering warmly sung meditations on loneliness (“Will I
Ever Make It Home”), unrequited love (“Chicago”) and family (“The Captain”). In “To Your Grave,” he tells the
somber, unsettling story of a guy who kills his girlfriend and then himself. With “On My Way,” “Waste It All On
You” and “What If I’m Right,” the singer sifts through the wreckage of a broken relationship and looks to the
renewal that follows. It's poppy and rocky, it's a blast to sit through right before a Hanson show. Being that I
used to be a Hanson fan and saw them personally, I can attest to their fun quality.

Vincent Black Shadow
Baltimore, Maryland

Usually when you think of a garage band the first thing that comes to mind is a bunch
of grubby, greasy teenagers who play the same three chords over and over, out of tune
and out of synch. With Vincent Black Shadow, taking thier name from the 1936 English
Motorcycle. This five piece made up of twenty somethings, Adam Savage (Vocals),
Dan Owen (Guitar), Rufus Platt (Drums), Dave Litz (Guitar), and Dirck Ober (Bass).
Coming straight out of Baltimore, Maryland this show you exactly what a garage band
can do. Remnicent of Iggy Pop and The Stooges with The Blue Cheer's drug indused
rock n roll, throw in some Wa Pedals and fuzzy bass lines and stir with a dash of
Iggy-esque vocals brought to you from Adam Savage and serve. Vincent Black Shadow
is Ready.
