












Many assumptions are easy to make about a tour bus belonging to 5 guys in
their early twenties and late teens. Mostly these culminate in an expectation of a
dirty bus, smelly kitchen and a multitude of strange smells in general. However, stepping onto
the Saosin bus provides a happy contradiction to those with low expectations and is a very welcoming,
and very clean, place to live. Beau Buchnell sits cozy and calm in a love-seat type couch with less then 3 hours until
Saosin's performance at the Sun Dome on the infamous Taste of Chaos Tour.
"[The tour] is great, we're all getting along really well." Beau tells us, adjusting a dark beanie on his head as he speaks.
Saosin's other guitarist, Justin Shekoski, sits close by strumming away at something before a laptop as the interview
begins. Saosin, though pronounced in different ways even among the band members has a very straight forward meaning
coming from a Chinese proverb meaning 'small heart' which the Beau explains as "Love with caution."
The self made men of Saosin began in southern California with the idea of going as far as possible with their band and
now after cementing the line up with a new lead singer, one Cove Reber, and a label
debut under their belts they're on the road once more. Their self-titled
Capital records debut was truly a long time coming. After roughly
three years in the making, Saosin was finished with little
difficulty as Beau states."There really
