5Story

5Story is a local Tampa band that will
cater to your rock needs without fail.
The 5story five write songs that play
like a high school drama, touching on
all the main acts such as love, hate,
back-stabbing, finding inner peace
after a well orchestrated revenge. Four
years young, this band proves that fine
tuning an already amazing sound can
captivate even the most jaded music
fan into singing along with vocalist
Mike Wilson. With a debut in the
words this fall, there will be no doubt
in mind that this time next year that the
Tampa Bay area will be a buzz with
adoration.
    Archer’s New Arrival

Hailing from Orlando Florida, this DIY screamo/punk rock inspired band has one
of the largest followings in the state. The popularity came rolling in with the aid of
bands such as Yellow Card, Pink Spiders, and Flyleaf to where as ANA played
supporting act. But their Florida fame became solidified when the Orlando group
played the hometown Taste of Chaos show in 2006, reaching more than the
average local show attendee. Since Taste ANA has released “Something Worth
Fighting For,” an album ranked in the top 50 for unsigned bands on Smartpunk.
com, as well as performed many charity benefits for less fortunate children and
cancer research. Proving to not be ‘just another screamo band’ is never easy, but
with sheer  talent and blunt message, ANA proved successful in excelling above
the stereotypical expectations of the scream genre.
A New Vision

The 80’s aren’t dead and A New Vision
proves it. Using the tips and tricks of all
the lates and greats, ANV blends old with
the new seamlessly, forcing a niche into
the pop-heavy sound of the day. Compared
through an article on their Myspace to the
likes of Rush and Yes by Same Pfeifle, it is
easy to feel the vibe, but never is the
comparison too close. ANV is no cover
band. This band has something to offer
anyone who’s looking, like a Lolita to a
sailor, they have what you’re looking for
veiled in the darkness of night. From
morbid depression to happy dance pop… I
mean bad-ass-goth-boot-to-the-face-
dance… yeah. Check out the latest
installment to ANV’s discography
“Immortality.”
