".....And in saying you loved me, made things harder at best, and these words changing nothing as your body remains, and there's
no room in this hell, there's no room in the next, but does anyone notice there's a corpse in this bed?"
Anyone who can write a song about out running zombies with your lady love, her being bitten, having her turn into one flesh-
craving creature, and then offing her, has my heart. I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love is the debut album of
now world renowned My Chemical Romance. Before the Patient and his parade of ebony, predating the epic high school battle of
dorks vs. jocks and the beautiful yet sorrowful dance of Helena, came the album that sparked it all. "Bullets" is a fast punk infused
pop album that ranges from drug intake to metaphorical vampires, described by once shaggy haired chubby comic nerd (*Sigh*
comic nerds...) Gerard Way as being the "not-so-sweet dudes in bars that drink and want to drag you down with them; That want to
suck the happiness out of you because they're miserable."
Of all three albums "Bullets" appears to me as the more passionate album, the more fuck radio friendly album. And although
currently more mellow, these feisty boys can still reel in the mosh pits by playing one of the crowd favorites from this album:
Honey, This Mirror Isn't Big Enough for the Both of Us, Vampires Will Never Hurt You, Our Lady of Sorrows, and Headfirst for
Halos. Ask any fan what there favorite album is and you'll more times than not hear "Bullets" as your answer. Ask a chick what her
favorite song is and she will more than likely respond with Demolition Lovers. But sadly this song isn't played live and hasn't been
since the early years of My Chem. Only one live video can be found on Youtube.com. And sadder still is that Monroeville has yet
to make a known appearance during a live set...Which means no zombie love for this B-rated movie queen. ...Infinite sadness.
