Adrift began its musical journey in 2002, as former Cannibal
Corpse guitarist Jack Owen was looking to write a richer,
more diverse style of music than the extreme metal he had
been crushing skulls with over the prior decade-plus. He
found other like-minded musicians, including former and
current Resurrection drummer (and Tampa area entertainment
attorney) Kevin Astl, and Adrift was born. Quickly cutting a
demo in 2003 with much sought after producer Jason Suecof
(Trivium, God Forbid), Adrift went on to much notoriety on
blogs and forums everywhere when Jack announced his
departure from the mighty Corpse. Explaining that Adrift was
where his musical heart was, the band began marketing
themselves and their signature style of music, playing several
high profile shows, including Big Spring Jam in Huntsville,
Alabama (with Lynyrd Skynyrd, Switchfoot, Live, Tantric,
Breaking Benjamin, Collective Soul and Future Leaders of the
World) and 98Rock's Guavaween (with Saliva, Collective
Soul, and Future Leaders of the World). 2005 was a growth
year for Adrift, as it ushered in talented new singer Dean
Pskowski, formerly of 98Rock and Miller Lite sponsored
Synapse, and rock solid bass player Jen Parker, a veteran of
the Tampa area music scene, having spent time with
Animosity and Falling Forward. With a four song demo/EP
recently recorded and mixed with discriminating
uber-producer John Hughes II (George Clinton, Parliament
Funkadelic, Brotherhood of the Grape, Chumley's Toy, Joe,
Patti Rothberg), a commitment to making music with an
uncompromising vision and sincerity, and an energetic and
impressive live set, Adrift is poised to achieve the success
their long work and dedication have brought to their
proverbial doorstep.

THIS DAY THEY FEAR
Hailing from the Tampa Bay area of Florida, This Day They Fear is a new energetic
and upcoming "Metal core" band, with its greater influences such as Through the Eyes
of the Dead, The Black Dahlia Murder, Suicide Silence, and many others. This Day
They Fear have proven to be one of the areas most memorable acts with their technical
guitar riffs, blast beats, breakdowns, and all over the place stage presence. They have
had the honor of sharing the stage with bands such as Phoenix Mourning, and The
Absence (Metal Blade Records), Endwell (Victory Records), Robinson (Debello
Recordings), and As Blood Runs Black (Mediaskare). This Day They Fear have also
shown they are capable of spanning the state of Florida to share the stage with national
acts. This Day They Fear has its own unique sound and style. But you can be the judge
of that, come by and check out one of their shows to see the amazement for your self.
Intensity! High energy! And raw power. Put
all of these elements together and what do
you get? "FULL CRY", a thrash metal/hard
rock (and beyond) based quartet from Florida.
With vocalist Eileen Hensler, guitarist Dave
Carlton, bassist Chris Lewis and percussionist
Jason L., all four members bring something
different, yet effective, to the creative table.
Eileen's raw and soulful vocal abilities help to
project her words of wisdom, perserverence,
and inner strength. Dave Carlton really knows
how to make his guitar scream as he
captivates fans with his melodic rhythms and
powerful solo techniques. Unlike most bass
players in heavy bands, Chris shines with a
bright and "in your face" style making him
truly stand out. Known as the wild man of the
group, Jason L certainly adds a lot of fuel to
the fire with his unique musical, technical, and
entertaining contributions thus helping to
drive the band.
