Geoff Cont. competition. I think a lot of bands see it as a competition. See it as how big can we get, how fast can we get
there, how do we get more MySpace friends, or something like that. Just don't think of it like that. You'll ruin it. You'll have
gotten to be a big band with our ever getting to love being a band.

Andrew: It's an experience like you aren't going to marry your first girlfriend. You're going to go through however many
relationships until you find the one that makes sense. You have to be able to learn from the past experiences and love them for
what they were. Too many bands are just worried about MySpace and getting noticed. They start a band with their friends and
try to sound like whoever is popular in order to get rich because success is number one! Don't be concerned with that. Don't
repeat everything that's popular. Just branch out. Do your own thing.

Geoff: I've always respected the bands that did things that they knew were going to make them less popular. They did it
because they knew it was going to be good music. Like the My Chem kids' last record. They knew it was coming, that some
kids wouldn't get it, but they rand with it. Follow your heart. There are so many friend's bands that just do what they do
because it's what they feel is right. It's cool and interesting. An album you don't get now doesn't mean you won't get it later
when you're in the mindset or more mature. Those band could have calculated their risks and went the easy to follow route but
why would you want to do that when you can create something new. Music is giving your all. Most people in bands have
already devoted their life to it before even getting in a band because they love music. Now that you've made it this far you want
to squeeze every last cent of it and sell your musical integrity? No. You wanna give back.
