Hailing from the Deep South (South Florida that is....),
Westview is the brainchild of South Florida musician / producer
Andrew Koussevitzky. Formed in 2001, the band began to take
shape after many long phone conversations between founding
members Mike Haddox and Andrew Koussevitzky. In August of
2006, Fire Kid Records released Westview’s debut EP, "For The
Record" , which is available online worldwide on both iTunes
and Myspace. In December of 2006 the single "Dr. Doctor"
went to number one on the Myspace music charts surpassing
such acts as Fall Out Boy and My Chemical Romance. In just
the past 2 years Westview has shared the stage with national
acts such as Coheed and Cambria, New Found Glory, Sugarcult,
The Starting Line, Bad Religion, and Hawthorne Heights. With
such a fierce and intense live show as Westview has, it should
not be long before these lads begin turning heads in rock music.

approaching...

silhouettes who make music today; it is nearly
tomorrow, shadows are stretched across the
landscape and fading as the sunsets on the lackluster
