When you think Boston, you hardly think music. You think Red Sox and Fenway Park. You think bitter cold winters, and Harvard University. You never think about music. So it is easy for bands to slip through the cracks and get unnoticed. It is easy for someone to pass them by. But in this case, you have to stop and listen. Stop, sit, listen and enjoy. But don’t move on. Take this band, and keep them. Why? Because, this band is going to be huge. Mark my words. They are going to rank in the likes of Fall Out Boy, Boys Like Girls (also from Boston), and The Academy Is… in no time. You’ll be singing their songs in your sleep and dancing around your bedroom holding your hair bush as a microphone, and singing to your stuffed animals. What…we’ve all done it for Boston quartet Lannen Fall, the key to success has only been discovered after heaps of hard work and dedication over a two- year period of time. In 2005, Jay Tagg (vocals, guitar), Ryan Mercedes (guitar, vocals), Dave "Horse" Horsman (bass, vocals), and Matt Wishnack (drums), came together to form Lannen Fall. With infectious melodies, captivating lyrics, and an overall positive, energetic feel, the band has created a name for themselves in the hearts of enthusiastic music fans. It is very rare for any of us to instantly enjoy a band. Take one listen to them and try very hard to hate them. With this do-it-yourself standpoint, Lannen Fall has no intentions of slowing their output. Enjoying each and every minute of it, they plan to continue touring and making honest music for the energetic crowds of hot, sweaty kids who sing their lungs out at each and every show. For them, success is not measured in monetary value, but in the impact that they have on their listeners.
