When ever someone mentions a Hip Hop artist and
Malibu I am reminded of the Jamie Kennedy movie
Malibu’s Most Wanted. It’s even harder to take
someone seriously like Cisco, no I’m not referring to
that bleach blonde dwarf that penned The Thong Song.
I’m referring Cisco Sam Adler the guy that most
people remember for dating Mischa Barton. Some of
you may remember Cisco from his old band Whitestarr
which had their own reality show called The Rock Life
which aired on VH1 a few years ago. Well that Cisco
is back with a new band Shwayze which is named
after his new partner in crime Shwayze, a real life
Malibu rapper. With a new record which was
produced by Adler, and a new reality show Buzzin’
which debuts July 23, 2008 on that other music
channel, MTV. Which follows the duo during the past
year of them getting signed, recording and getting on
the radio with their single “Corona and Lime.” So
what’s different this time around? “It’s a whole new
project, but also I think this is a birth of a project
where as The Rock Life was a bands last chance. I
think this time around Shit is really happening.” Adler
explains.
So this time will there be more focus and less
partying? “Last time everyone was focused, they were
just focused on partying. On this one [Buzzin] you get
to see the real happenings of the behind the scenes of
the music business, but you also get to see us having a
