Warped tour this year, and seeing them perform the first single from this album, Kiss Me, a song originally from Sixpence None the Richer, you had to stop and stare at all the ‘bro-dudes’ who are singing along to every word. This album is filled with a guilty pleasure for all. Just don’t let your girlfriend know that you know some of these songs. You might not have one much longer. Get Back Up Weathering the Storm Why is it that the short albums are sometimes the best ones? This album comes shy of 18 minutes and is absolutely amazing. This is a definite must have for fans of Comeback Kid and The Gorilla Biscuits. Despite a musical sound that's practically everywhere in hardcore/metal these days, it's extremely difficult to find anything negative about Get Back Up. The band that comes from Buffalo, New York, has guitars peddeling with racing melodies, hoarse, and meaningful vocals that bring on the mayhem and dirty, crashing breakdowns and mosh-along parts for everyone.

Answer Reprenem Respostes (no album art) As if hardcore and metal wasn’t hard enough to understand as is, Answer went ahead and put it out in a whole nother language. But for an album that is completely in Spanish, the band does an amazing job vocally and musically. I just wish I could know what he is saying. I can’t make a full review out of this, without understanding the language. For those of you who do speak Spanish fluently, please check this album out and review it for me! Shit Outta Luck- Family Traditon Probably one of the most amazing band name’s I have heard in a long time. The intro message on the first track sounds like it is going to be an amazing hard core record, but it falls short of expecations. Though the album talks about “the family that fucked us up before we had a chance” but with something as emotinal, that connects to a lot of kids on the hard core scene, you would think that the lyrics and the music would be better.
Pyramaze Melancholy Beast Metallica and Guns and Roses have a love child. You didn’t hear that news? Yes. They named it Pyramaze, and it’s a beautful bouncing bundle of metal. If you are also a fan of Avegened Sevenfold, I would suggest taking this band out. The album is infectious and leaves a lasting impression for the rest of the album. The title track shines with riffs far surpassing today’s talent and will have you headbanging until your brain spills from your ears. Its hard to believe that this is a debut album. I would lvoe to see what the band has in store for their next album, as they become a tighter band.
