We met at Bourbon Street at the Jon Oliva show and you said you were looking for people to
work for the magazine. I heard you have to be 21 to go backstage to hang with the bands. I’m
only 20. I really would love the chance to meet awesome people. I especially want to chill with
A7X and Atreyu at the Taste of Chaos show. Think we can get together before then and get the
ball rolling?

No you can’t hang out with the bands. Little does anyone realize that going backstage isn’t just
for fun, you have a purpose for being back there. It’s not an all out party with broads and booze
spilled over mountains of coke. It’s a bunch of tired people that would rather be in bed than
talking to person after person. So if you’re looking for a free party look else where sister, cause
it ain’t happenin’ here. I guess, all things being said, No. We can’t get the ball rolling.
I actually work for everything I have and I’ve earned my reputation and the friends I’ve made
along the way. I doubt that I’ll let it get ruined all for some little girl with rock star dreams.

I heard a rumor that Nyght Scene was going to be
putting comic artists in. Is this true and can you get
Garth Ennis?

Well…N/A,
We most certainly are running comic creators in the
upcoming issues!! Mr. Gabriel Ba of Ursula and
Umbrella Academy fame, to name a few, is going to
be the man that kicks it off. I can’t even begin to
tell you just how excited I was to talk to him. As
for Mr. Ennis, that’s a man I’d love to have a one
on one with. He’s so talented!! So maybe,
hopefully, God allowing, it’ll happen. Stay tuned
to see if we’re lucky enough to snag him.

Hi! My name is Margot and I’ve been readying
your magazine since you started the site, like 2nd
issue back on the other coast. I love it! You guys
cover a lot of my favorite bands and never repeat
shit I’ve already read. I also read the other local
Tampa rags and I can’t help but notice that you
and REAX have alotta the same features. I know
you guys had Backyard first. What gives? Can’t
you tell them to knock it off of sue em?

the beginning! That makes me feel all warm and
fuzzy on the inside. REAX has a lot of things that
we have, and it’s a bit funny how they started
running said things after our run in at Warped
Tour. But hey, whatever. So long as you guys
know whats what, I don’t care. We do it better
